What we check before you pay
Steel grade inside, not outside
304 outside and something cheaper inside is a real substitution. We ask for the grade of the inner wall specifically and, on larger orders, verify it rather than taking the listing at face value.
Coating and lining
Interior coatings, powder coats and the paint under a printed design are all food contact or skin contact surfaces. Their composition belongs in the test report too.
Vacuum retention and leak testing
Heat retention claims are easy to state and easy to test. We arrange a hold test and a leak test on sampled units, because both failures are invisible in a photograph.
Lid seal and thread
Most leaks are the gasket, not the bottle. Gasket material, whether it is removable for cleaning, and the thread fit are worth specifying.
Print durability
Whether the logo survives a dishwasher depends on the method. We get a sample and test it rather than accepting a claim.
How an order runs
- Send the product and the market A link or sample, the quantity, and where it will be sold — the market decides which test report you need.
- Material documentation first Steel grade, lining and gasket material, with the food contact report requested before pricing. What exists and what does not is reported plainly.
- Branding sample A printed sample, tested for durability, before the production run.
- Quote and approval Itemised, with any testing you have asked for priced separately rather than folded in.
- Leak and hold testing on samples Sampled units filled, inverted and timed, and photographed. A failure found in China costs nothing.
- Consolidate and ship Drinkware is heavy and fragile; inner packing is specified before production.
