Confirm the print or engraving method

Printing and engraving behave differently, and a title often names only one. Heat-transfer coating on white ceramic suits full-color photos, while engraving on stainless steel is single-tone and shows depth rather than color. Ask the seller which method applies to your variant, the maximum print area and whether wrap-around artwork is possible. Request a proof, because a logo placed close to the handle can be cut off.

Get capacity and size in milliliters

Several tumbler titles say large capacity without giving a number, and a lidded porcelain cup and a coffee mug can differ widely in volume. Ask for capacity in milliliters, the height and the mouth diameter, then compare them with a cup you already own. Confirm whether a stated size is outer or inner, because wall thickness changes the usable volume of an insulated body.

Ask what the liner and lid are made of
