Ask for the charm size and thickness

Acrylic keychains vary a lot in size and thickness, and a listing at US$0.15 is not the same product as one at US$1.57. Ask for the width and height in millimeters, the thickness, and the ring or clasp type. Compare those numbers with a charm you already own, because photos on listings are cropped and hide scale.

Check the artwork area and print method

Epoxy-coated, printed and engraved charms use different processes, and a title often names only one. Ask whether the artwork is printed on one side or both, whether a clear epoxy coat sits over the print, and which file format and resolution the seller needs. Photo and cartoon designs depend on image quality, so send artwork early and approve a digital proof before production.

Look at character art and trademarks

Cartoon and anime designs are a legal risk when the artwork belongs to someone else, and a seller willing to print a character is not the same as a license to sell it.
